Pledge is a habit-staking app that turns missed daily habits into yield-bearing DeFi investments on Arbitrum, creating a new retail distribution channel for on-chain assets.
Pledge solves DeFi's distribution problem from the consumer side. Instead of trying to educate retail users on yield farming, we give them something they already want: accountability for their habits. Users stake money on daily goals like waking up on time, hitting the gym, doing specific exercises, or reaching step targets. Smart verification through HealthKit, GPS, Vision AI, and Gemini photo analysis ensures honesty with no honor system.
When a user misses a habit, their stake automatically flows into yield-bearing positions including Pendle PTs, USDre, tBills, and other RWAs. The allocation adjusts based on the user's risk profile, fully verifiable on Robinhood explorer. Users either build discipline or build a portfolio. There is no losing outcome.
The app is built as a native iOS experience with Privy-powered embedded wallets. Users sign up with just a phone number. No seed phrases, no MetaMask, no bridging. The entire DeFi layer is abstracted away. Pledge is deployed on Robinhood Chain, built on Arbitrum.

<p>Came in with the idea and a basic iOS navigation shell with auth scaffolding. During the hackathon, we built and deployed all smart contracts on Robinhood Testnet (vault, staking, investOnFailure), integrated Privy embedded wallets for seamless onboarding, built four verification systems (HealthKit, GPS, Vision AI, Gemini photo AI), the full staking and habit management flow, the portfolio view with on-chain transaction tracking, and the relayer that executes real token swaps when habits fail. Every swap is verifiable on Robinhood chain explorer.</p>
