iOS savings app leveraging Morpho vaults for yield and Robinhood chain to auto-invest yield into stocks. Earn up to 9% APY on your cash.
Piggy is a gamified savings and investing iOS app. Using streaks, challenges, friend leaderboards, and milestone rewards, to turn saving money into a habit as your savings get supercharged.
Under the hood, it runs on stablecoin rails (USDC on Arbitrum) with Morpho, which means users earn real yield, get instant settlement, and benefit from programmable auto-allocation, without ever touching a wallet or knowing they're onchain. We also tap into Robinhood's Chain to access stocks and allow users to direct their earnings into their favorite companies.
Duolingo proved people will show up daily for streaks. Piggy brings that to savings.
We integrated Morpho on Arbitrum and set up an auto-harvest function to compound rewards. Currently live on mainnet. We created a savings goals window powered by Robinhood chain that allows you to set goals for certain stocks. There is a staged production enviorment but because the yield is on mainnet and stocks are on testnet, it won't currently auto-buy. We also built reward pools. 0.01% of everyone's yield is placed into a shared pool. Once every 2 weeks we send a push notification that opens a 10 min window for users to claim their share of the USDC or Stock. Essentially, keeping the app top of mind and gamifying actions by giving multiples to your prize throughout the weeks before the game. We call it Payday. We also worked on improving the onboarding flow, added recurring deposits, and added reward pools.
This is 100% boostrapped as of now. Since it's a consumer app, we are focused on onboarding our first 500 users and making the app highly sticky, with no leaky funnel retention, before fundraising to spend on user acquisition.
