Pegasus transforms mortgages from static debt obligations into yield-generating financial products. Instead of borrowers simply servicing interest payments, Pegasus routes mortgage-linked capital through programmable onchain vaults and yield strategies designed to offset borrowing costs. This introduces a new model for home and real-estate finance while giving onchain capital transparent access to real-world credit exposure. Pegasus also enables a 24/7 mortgage tokenization pipeline that includes loan origination, underwriting, collateral deposits, and yield generation directly onchain. Traditional mortgage infrastructure relies on fragmented systems, intermediaries, and banking hours, making the process slow and inaccessible outside of business days. Pegasus replaces this with programmable infrastructure that operates continuously. To preserve borrower privacy while enabling institutional verification, Pegasus integrates Fhenix Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), allowing sensitive borrower and underwriting data to remain private while still being verifiable by financial institutions. In this implementation, loan verification and compliance checks can be performed through Robinhood banking infrastructure, enabling lenders to confirm borrower eligibility, loan health metrics, and payment status without exposing raw personal data. To further strengthen the tokenization and compliance layer, Pegasus plans to integrate Plume Network’s SEC-compliant transfer agent infrastructure, enabling regulated real-world asset tokenization and secure distribution of mortgage-linked financial products.
Together, these components demonstrate how Pegasus can bring the entire mortgage lifecycle onchain, from underwriting and collateral deposits to yield generation and loan servicing—creating a programmable, transparent, and continuously operating credit infrastructure.
<p><strong>Hackathon Update:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Integrated Fhenix FHE to enable users to submit sensitive information required for the mortgage process (underwriting, loan origination, borrower financial data) while preserving privacy through fully homomorphic encryption. </p></li><li><p>Integrated Robinhood banking verification to confirm borrower collateral deposits and monitor loan health metrics, including payment status, collateralization, and yield generation. This provides an additional compliance and verification layer for financial institutions. </p></li><li><p>Integrated Plume Network on the Arbitrum testnet, allowing users to deposit their mortgage collateral directly into a vault when submitting the required 20% down payment. </p></li><li><p>Deployed smart contracts on the Arbitrum testnet and the Robinhood Chain testnet to support the end-to-end mortgage workflow.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Demo:</strong></p><p>Users can privately submit financial information, connect their wallet, and deposit the 20% collateral required for a home purchase. Once deposited, the collateral is automatically routed into a Plume RWA vault, where it begins generating yield.</p><p>The yield generated from the vault is directed back to the borrower and used to offset the mortgage’s interest rate / APY.</p><p>For regulatory and financial institution compatibility, a Robinhood banking verification layer allows lenders to verify borrower activity such as payment status, loan health metrics, and collateralization conditions.</p><p>Through this pipeline, Pegasus demonstrates how mortgages can be brought onchain, enabling a 24/7 programmable lending infrastructure where collateral is productive and loan activity can be transparently tracked.</p><p>This demo represents an early proof-of-concept for tokenizing mortgage flows and integrating real-world credit into DeFi infrastructure.</p>
